A number of MSRPO members have written with local concerns: special taxing districts set up to manage milfoil blooms, increasing and restrictive ordinances, waste treatment, radio tower construction, capricious enforcement of zoning ordinances to name a few. MSRPO is planning to set up regional groups to represent owners in these local issues. What are your concerns/struggles at the local level. Let’s learn from each other.

I have some significant concerns with Jeff Forester’s letter to the editor on the ISD 2142 school building bond passage. He is siding with the vocal minority before he has all the facts on the impact of what this group actually wants. Jeff, do you really understand what this means to seasonal property tax owners in this area if this group is allowed to form their own shool district?????
Have you even contacted the school district to find out the facts?
